What to send
A site address or a postcode, a sentence on what you are trying to work out, and any deadline you are working to. That is enough for us to tell you whether there is a job here and what shape it is.
If there is a planning reference, an appeal reference or a consultation you are responding to, send that too. It saves a round trip.
What happens next
We read it before we reply, which sometimes means the reply takes a day rather than an hour. You will get an actual answer rather than a request for a meeting to discuss having a meeting.
